AboutBDEDM 2027

The BDEDM conference series has a strong track record of success. BDEDM 2022 was held on January 14-16, 2022 in Beijing, China; BDEDM 2023 took place on January 6-8, 2023 in Changsha, China; BDEDM 2024 was held on January 12-14, 2024 in Tianjin, China; BDEDM 2025 followed on January 3-5, 2025 in Tianjin, China; and BDEDM 2026 was successfully held on January 9-11, 2026 in Guangzhou, China.

Building upon the progressive journeys of the past five editions, BDEDM 2027 is poised to set a new benchmark in exploring the transformative potential of big data within the evolving digital economy. Following the successful convergence of big data with ethical governance, privacy preservation, and sustainable innovation featured in BDEDM 2026, this year's conference will pivot towards the practical implementation and scalable deployment of responsible data-driven solutions across industries and societies.

BDEDM 2027 will uniquely emphasize actionable frameworks that translate technological advancements into real-world impact. This edition seeks to highlight pioneering research, case studies, and industry applications that demonstrate how big data analytics can drive operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and foster inclusive growth—while rigorously addressing critical issues such as data sovereignty, algorithmic accountability, cross-border data flows, and the societal implications of AI-driven automation.

Moreover, BDEDM 2027 will deepen its interdisciplinary scope by inviting contributions that explore the integration of big data analytics with emerging technologies—including generative AI, edge computing, and digital twins—and their applications in smart cities, resilient supply chains, personalized healthcare, and sustainable finance. Publication

All papers submitted to BDEDM 2027 will be reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published in ACM ICPS (ACM International Conference Proceeding Series) (application in progress), and will be submitted to EI Compendex / Scopus for indexing.

Note: All submitted articles should report original research results, experimental or theoretical, not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtue of academics. Hence, any act of plagiarism or other misconduct is totally unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.
